During the 551st broadcast of his program Con el Mazo Dando, the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, issued a forceful warning about the risks of agreeing with imperialism, which he described as a “devil that does not do free favors.”
«There are people who are desperate, who sell their souls to the devil. But when the devil comes to charge you, don’t say anything. The devil charges, and call it the devil: imperialism. “He doesn’t do anyone any favors,” stated Cabello, referring to sectors of the right that, as he stated, are committed to the destabilization of the country.
Cabello denounced that the extremist right, faced with its growing discredit, is resorting to increasingly absurd tactics: “What they are asking now is for an asteroid to fall on Venezuela. “They have asked for everything, and fortunately, for the good of the country, none of that has happened or will happen.”
Faced with this panorama, he highlighted the contrast with the national reality: «The country is fine, calm, in peace. “That makes you happy because you see the people on the street calm.”
“Analysts” for hire: the industry of lies
Cabello also attacked a group of self-proclaimed “analysts” who, in his opinion, have neither rigor nor ethics, and who only respond to economic interests: “They don’t analyze anything because they are paid. To be an analyst you have to have common sense and know a little bit of history.
He criticized that these characters present themselves as experts when in reality “what they have is a TikTok. Anyone who hears them snoring believes they are sleeping. “They do some analyzes that don’t stand up to revision.”
According to the socialist leader, the extreme right has turned disinformation into a business: «They have a virtue: since they have money, they recycle analysts. “They lock up Luis Quiñones and Romero, and they bring them out again in three months as if they were specialists or advisors.”
With these statements, Cabello reaffirms his call to the conscience of the Venezuelan people not to be deceived by those who, under the guise of expert opinion, try to impose foreign agendas and undermine national sovereignty.
