Cabello: Venezuela changed forever since February 4, 1992

In an emotional event held at the La Montaña Barracks to commemorate the 34th anniversary of the Military Rebellion, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Diosdado Cabello, highlighted that Venezuela changed forever since that February 4, 1992.

During his intervention, he stressed that the speech of Commander Hugo Chávez, who led this feat, was always focused on unity, becoming the main reference in the recent history of the country. He also pointed out that “today the whole world knows: the only ones who guarantee peace in this country are us; “It is the Bolivarian Revolution.”

In this sense, he called for the eradication of individualism. Likewise, he affirmed that Hugo Chávez’s sacrifice “was not in vain”; The nation today firmly reaps the fruits of that struggle. As an example, he mentioned the process’s ability to transform adversities into popular victories, referring to resistance to external aggression.

Cabello pointed out that Venezuela is going through a complex moment that requires raising leadership and levels of awareness.

“Today Venezuela is standing and we will never kneel before anyone,” said Cabello, while adding that the presence of his comrades in the struggle of that historic day fills him with strength, and he recounted that February 4 at the San Carlos Barracks.

In this regard, he praised the uprising for all the soldiers who participated, who came out in defense of the Venezuelan people.

It was like this, as the also Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, pointed out that the only thing a revolutionary has to offer is his life, and that is what they did on February 4, “feel proud because history is going to recognize you. As of February 4, 1992, Venezuela changed forever,” he reiterated.

In that sense, he pointed out that Chávez continued forward in the midst of meritocracy, and was calm, “just as President Maduro asked us for calm and sanity,” and emphasized: “he who despairs loses.” He then commented that sometimes decisions are uncomfortable, but you have to make them and keep moving forward.

He mentioned that the historical enemy is the same and is there in its different forms, but this town has grown. And he reiterated that “as long as they see us united they will think so, if they see us divided they will eat us one by one and there will be no one left.”

Cabelló called to remain united in a single block to maintain the stability of the homeland.

Likewise, he regretted what happened on January 3 and demanded the release of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and the first combatant Cilia Flores, as well as supported the management of the acting president Delcy Rodríguez, who now takes the reins of the nation after the political situation that the country is going through.

Héctor Rodríguez: Only Chavismo can guarantee peace in Venezuela

The vice president of Social and Territorial Socialism, Héctor Rodríguez, assured this Wednesday in Portuguesa that Chavismo is not only the main political force in the country but the only one capable of guaranteeing peace for all Venezuelans.

In an assembly with the educational sector, social movements and allies of the Great Patriotic Pole, Rodríguez alleged that in Venezuela there is no other “political force with a social fabric” to govern in each space of the territory and preserve peace, for which he called for unity, mobilization and conscience to defend the sovereignty and rights of the people in democracy.

“We have to be absolutely aware that whether this country ends up like Libya, like Iraq, like Syria or if it remains at peace and recovers its economic capacity depends on what we do or don’t do, if we stay united or not, if we govern well or not, if we are intermittent or not,” he stressed.

He specified that a month after the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, the stability of the Republic is maintained but it is vital to recover from the attack, “it is very important to get up quickly, raise morale, because we are historically right and we are doing the right thing.”

Rodríguez warned that “recovering Nicolás and Cilia will not be simple, easy, or fast, but if we do what we have to do it is possible.” He urged people to maintain organization, mobilization and patriotic consciousness because “when the effervescence subsides, what sustains politics is organization, mobilization and consciousness.”

“History will judge us if we were capable of managing the power we have for the good of the country or if we were not capable and we fell into petty politics, personal aspirations, blackmail, division, sadness and we were not capable and we divided,” he highlighted.
