The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, emphasized this Thursday that the Executive order of the United States (USA), it pointed to a division in the chavista forces.
The statements were made during the activities of the Anti-imperialism Day.
“Obama was wrong because he thought that when this law was approved, the following measures would dismantle the State and generate a division within the forces of Chavismo,” stressed the socialist leader.
In this sense, Cabello stated that, despite what the US expected, the National Government – together with the unity of the Venezuelan people – has managed to move forward.
“They have given us much more strength to continue resisting. The blockade has strengthened our internal resistance. The unity of our people has kept us standing“, he indicated.
In this regard, he recalled that the United States government always targeted the Bolivarian Revolution, because Commander Hugo Chávez did not respond to his interests, and that when he became president he exposed reality.
Likewise, Diosdado Cabello pointed out that the presidents who governed before gave the resources to the US, to which he added “the US does not want to buy our oil, it wants to steal our oil as it did for many years.”

“The intention of imperialism is to get out of the Bolivarian Revolution. Imperialism is interested in our natural resources”, revealed the also deputy of the National Assembly.
However, he also recalled that – despite all the destabilizing actions – Chávez left a plan for the country, which is embodied in the Constitution, approved by the people.
“Our people gained power with this Constitution, our people learned to claim” due to what is embodied in the Magna Carta; Indian.
