The sectoral vice president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, announced that a new plan by the Venezuelan extremist right was unveiled, which would form a new destabilization operation called “No to Christmas” and that its objective was to attack from the Zulia state.
The senior official stated that after several investigations, he found one of those involved in the new destabilizing plan. This is a businessman named José Enrique Rincón, linked to Iván Simonovis, María Corina Machado, Juan Pablo Guanipa, among others.
In this sense, the minister announced the arrest of a group of public officials related to the Primero Justicia party in the state of Zulia, linked to a coup d’état conspiracy in the country.
These are Pedro Velazco Prieto, president of the Criminal Judicial Circuit of Zulia, Maurelis Vilches, judge of the state of Zulia, Mariol Plaza, judge of the state of Zulia, Francisco Javier Urdaneta, 5th prosecutor of the Public Ministry and José Gregorio Rondón Muñoz, Superior Prosecutor of the state of Zulia , who had, “around them, links with opposition leaders of the Primero Justicia party.”
Along with the detainees, Cabello announced that an arsenal of different types of caliber and models was seized, including six Colombian-made rifles; an M4 rifle, eight AK47 rifles, six American-made M16 rifles, a grenade launcher, ten grenades and a drone that they intended to use for observation.
He explained that “within the investigation we discovered a site where Colombian paramilitary groups linked to the same characters who participated in Operation Gedeón were training.
He explained that only officials from Caracas were sent to carry out the investigation work, “there is not a single one from the state of Zulia participating and we sent them with enough notice, because when we began to investigate the case we realized that it is riddled with corruption and everything is controlled.” by José Enrique Rincón.”
Terrorists are trained in Ecuador
Cabello indicated that within the framework of these investigations, information was found on the training of terrorists in Ecuador, who would threaten the peace of the country. “In Ecuador they are (right now) training people to attack Venezuela,” he said.
The minister assured that the government has “the coordinates, we have the sites and who is behind that organization.” He pointed out Iván Simonovis as responsible for these training centers in Ecuador and revealed that “he (referring to Simonovis) was going to travel to Ecuador, but he couldn’t and ended up sending a man with the last name, Nieto Quintero.”
He also highlighted that in Ecuador a government dedicated to the imperialism and fascism of the United States functions and operates. He assured that, from there, they finance all these conspiratorial plans with weapons and explosives.
Likewise, he referred to Colombia and assured that not only Colombia is the epicenter of the entire plot against the Government of Venezuela, where Uribe, Duque, the extremist right led by María Corina Machado are involved.
