Cabello to Colombian foreign minister: he thinks he can stick his nose into Venezuela

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, lashed out at the Colombian foreign minister, Luis Gilberto Murillo, and emphasized that “the issue of Venezuela is addressed by Venezuelans,” in response to the diplomat’s statements about an alleged meeting between several presidents of the region to discuss the internal affairs of the Bolivarian nation.

“So, this gentleman is appointed by the United States (US) as foreign minister in Colombia and he thinks he can say that they are planning a meeting between Mexico, Brazil and Colombia to discuss the issue of Venezuela,” Cabello said on Wednesday during the broadcast of his television program Con el Mazo Dando.

He added that the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, himself said earlier today that he did not know which meeting the Colombian diplomat was talking about.

“(…) They betray even their own origins by their level of surrender, by their level of submission. This man thinks he can come and poke his nose into Venezuela here,” insisted the Bolivarian leader.

He also explained that Murillo is a US government official: “You get on the payroll there and you get it there, they pay you there (…) All your life you worked under the orders of Juan González, someone who wanted to mess with Venezuela and that’s where he dried up.”

Cabello revealed that Murillo also aspires to be a presidential candidate in Colombia: “In other words, the United States will once again have a presidential candidate in Colombia.”
