Cabello: The US sends mercenaries to attack the oil system

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, denounced on Monday that the United States government sends mercenaries to the country “to attack oil installations.”

During a press conference of the ruling party, he referred to the attack perpetrated this Sunday on the gas system in Eastern Venezuela.

“Attacks against the electrical system and against the oil system They come from the United States through mercenaries. All attacks on the electrical system are transversal, in the end they affect the water as well, but they look for places to do damage, putting their own lives at risk, they do not care about anything, “said Diosdado Cabello.

«The right does not rest and just as US imperialism during all these years has done the unthinkable that a rational mind may believe they are capable of doing, that strategy is part of US policy, the attack on oil facilities, bringing mercenaries , some of them detained, others tried”, he denounced.

He explained that this type of attack must keep alert to the security forces.

“They would like to see us dragged along, asking for mercy, but that will not happen because this town is used to that and each attack will be responded to by the security agencies and those responsible will be investigated,” said Cabello.

«The Spanish government is in the White House»

The also deputy to the National Assembly also referred to the Spanish government and its intentions to seize part of the Venezuelan oil.

He assured that Venezuela has the necessary oil to export to the countries that need it, but they must pay for it and negotiate directly with President Nicolás Maduro.

«The Spanish government is in the White House, in Spain there is no government, they do what the White House says, when the US government sent someone here in Venezuela, they put us too. Always the tail of what the United States says », he expressed.

primaries in opposition

Cabello also referred to the organization of the Venezuelan opposition before the 2024 presidential elections.

“We are not surprised that the opposition is divided into a thousand pieces. They have said that they are going to hold primary elections but they are not going to hold primary elections, that is a lie, it is impossible for them to agree”, he said.

In addition, he indicated that the opposition proposed to hold primary elections without the National Electoral Council. At this he wondered. “And who is going to do the presidential elections? Who is the rector of the electoral issue in Venezuela? The CNE,” he said.

Regarding the Military Community Health and Education Brigades (Bricomiles), he stressed that permanent support is maintained by the Party.

“The impact has been so great that sectors of the right wing are sick, because they really have to be sick, they say that the military must be removed from the schools because the thing would be an invasion,” added Cabello.

Alert against covid-19

Attend the dose of covid-19

Finally he called the population to take care of the rebound in cases by covid-19. He added that educational centers must be attended to receive the booster dose of covid-19. Given this, he said that this Sunday more than 600 active cases were registered.
