The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Diosdado Cabello, asserted this Monday that a total of 235,722 assemblies in the streets throughout the country for the formation of the Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees (Cbbi).
In this sense, he pointed out that “today we can say that the report that has arrived from all the states of Venezuela is extraordinary, and what remains are some forms that come from very far away, but we have already begun the process of transcribing, evaluating and processing all the information.”
He added that now the Cbbi are “the fundamental core of the Bolivarian Revolution, which are the bases of our party, organized, meeting, debating, choosing in an extraordinary exercise of participatory and democratic democracy.”
Diosdado Cabello stated that “the people are the protagonists and assume the direction of the new era and structure of the PSUV.”
Likewise, he confirmed that currently the Psuv is an example of a revolutionary party in the entire world.
He assured that President Nicolás Maduro ordered the fulfillment of three fundamental tasks entrusted in the new structures of the Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees, which must be carried out during this week, in view of the fourth National Popular Consultation, to be held this November 23.
He added that the first task is to support the consolidation of all communal councils, communal circuits and communes; in addition to firmly supporting the success of the upcoming elections on November 23.
Next, he said that “if we were able to move more than 4,000,000 Venezuelans for this day, then those 2,000,000 who remain as the vanguard in the streets of the country have the task of moving our people, to exercise their sovereign right contemplated in this Constitution, approved by the people; as part of participatory and leading democracy.”
In this regard, the general secretary of the Psuv, Diosdado Cabello, recalled that there are almost 36,000 projects and the people decide where they want to go to vote, or where it is easier for them to exercise the right to vote.
“The second task is to prepare for the comprehensive defense of your street, your neighborhood, your community, with a single slogan: peace, peace and peace; Let’s build our peace, a true peace and with justice” – he expressed.
Cabello indicated that “the third task is to consolidate the team on the street, point and circle on each street; number of supporters; establish how many friends we have on the ground, how many families there are, in order to establish a working circle of the comprehensive base committee on each street, through a broad plan of knocking on doors, touching hearts and looking each other in the eyes.”
