Despite this, he did not say when they will be presented to respond to the questions of the opposition that did present the minutes of its witnesses and -for this reason- rejects the bulletin issued by the National Electoral Council that declares President Nicolás Maduro the winner.
On Monday, August 5, the National Assembly (AN) deputy said that the opposition “crossed the boundaries of lies with the creation of the website where they posted what this sector claims are the true voting records and in which they claim the victory of the opposition candidate Edmundo González Urrutia is evident.
“The lies that are expressed there, in supposed minutes, which are not minutes, are terrible. The opposition sector looks very bad believing that this can help them, on the contrary, it sinks them,” he said during the weekly press conference of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela.
He pointed out that the opposition only has 9,000 documents, while the PSUV and the Gran Polo Patriótico have all the minutes.

Cabello supported the theory that Venezuela is the victim of a “raw cyberfascism” that uses social media to generate fear in citizens. In this regard, he denounced that there have been expressions of hate and accusations against leaders and their families.
He stressed that the more than a thousand detainees are being prosecuted for alleged acts of terrorism and hate crimes. He stressed that “President Nicolás Maduro made VenApp available so that the people could denounce terrorist groups that acted in certain communities. Based on this information, direct and surgical actions are taken,” he added.
He denied that human rights of protesters had been violated in recent days. He accused the Western media of trying to impose this narrative.
On social networks he stated that “aHere in Venezuela they are not going to overthrow the government by watching TikTok, here there are people willing to defend our country. Venezuela will continue to be the vanguard of the free peoples of the world.
On the other hand, he insisted that María Corina Machado and Edmundo González Urrutia are the heads of the terrorist mafia. “They want to impose fascism in Venezuela at any cost, they do not care about human lives, but the national territory will be free of fascism, we will not give it space. Justice will prevail to guarantee peace,” he said.
