Cabello: PSUV’s goal is to make the Revolution irreversible

The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) has the goal of making the Bolivarian Revolution irreversible, a project led and undertaken by Commander Hugo Chávez, the first vice president of the political organization, Diosdado Cabello, stressed on Tuesday.

During his intervention by videoconference at the weekly meeting of the Sandinista National Liberation Front, Cabello explained that the PSUV began, a week ago, a great national deployment that has allowed the visit of 1,881,305 Venezuelans in 285,000 streets and 48,000 communities.

He indicated that the instruction given by the president of the party, Nicolás Maduro, is to achieve a deployment “house by house, street by street, community by community and case by case, with direct communication, to make the revolution an irreversible process.”

Faced with the attempts to overthrow the Revolution, Cabello said “they have not been able to and will not be able to, just like there in Nicaragua, our resistance is the same and our revolutions are the same. Sandino, Bolívar and Martí are our roots”.

He also added: “Here they have not been able to because of the conscience of a people.”

Regarding the permanent threats from the United States, the first vice president of the PSUV emphasized that he will continue with his attempts to destabilize the country and overthrow President Nicolás Maduro.

“The United States will continue trying to repeal the revolution and we will continue to resist with more force and revolutionary unity. They have not been able to and will not be able to », he said.

In this sense, he recalled that the assassination attempts against the constitutional president, Nicolás Maduro, have been public and notorious, as well as the attempted invasions, in the face of which President Maduro has persisted in calling for dialogue.

“We must have more revolutionary unity, while they are divided and scattered in a thousand pieces, we must be more united with President Maduro. We keep moving forward in the midst of difficulties.”

To conclude, Cabello stressed that the people of Nicaragua will always have the accompaniment and solidarity of the Bolivarian Government.
