The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) has become a large structure capable of winning elections and leading a fight for resistance, its first vice president, Diosdado Cabello, said Tuesday in a videoconference held with the Communist Party of China.
Such a statement was made by Cabello when referring to the attacks that Venezuela has received for being a country that decided to be free and sovereign.
“We have had great pressure on us from imperialist sectors, enemies of our country that have imposed sanctions, persecutions, blockades on our country,” he said.
Cabello highlighted in this regard the extraordinary role that the PSUV has played, whose presence throughout Venezuela has allowed it to reach every corner. As an example of this, he cited the fight against covid-19, which – he stressed – was faced by emulating the Chinese model. In this regard, he thanked the Communist Party for its support and indicated that thanks to countries like China, Venezuela was able to count on covid-19 vaccines, since due to the blockade they did not allow the purchase of medicines and even food.
For his part, Li Wang Chao, representative in the videoconference for the Communist Party of China, recognized the firm and tenacious spirit of the Venezuelan people who in recent years have overcome US and Western pressure, and have firmly safeguarded national sovereignty.
Chao highlighted the fundamental role of the PSUV in Venezuelan society and of President Nicolás Maduro to unite the forces of the country and overcome the attacks, leading to economic development.
Cooperation Communist Party of China and PSUV
In the videoconference with the Chinese Communist Partythe first vice president of the PSUV, Diosdado Cabello, stressed the pride and importance of the friendship relationshipcamaraderie and camaraderie with the Chinese Communist Party.
He referred to the rapprochement between the two political awnings in recent years, while thanking the support for the formation of party members.
The representative of the Communist Party of China agreed to celebrate the strategic association between the two countries, as well as bilateral cooperation and mutual support on important issues, such as the fight against the pandemic.
China, as always, will support Venezuela to find the way through the struggles to maintain the stability and sovereignty of the country. We support all operations for the benefit of our peoples and we are proud to have a sincere partner like the PSUV party and to have great friends like the Venezuelan people,” said Wang Chao.
“The union of the parties is a cornerstone to further promote the strategic partnership,” added the representative of the Communist Party of China.
The virtual meeting established interest in strengthening high-level exchanges, and deepening exchanges and cooperation among its members.
