The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) must be vigilant of the efforts of the national government, and be a participant in the actions of the Executive, with the purpose of promoting the popular government that counteracts the blockade and the sanctions imposed on Venezuela, said this Saturday the first vice president of the party, Diosdado Cabello , during the swearing-in of the base structures in the state of Nueva Esparta.
In an act staged at the Guatamare stadium in Nueva Esparta state, Hair recalling what the PSUV president, Nicolás Maduro, said about turning the party into a movement that governs with the people, he stressed: “you (base structures) must be vigilant of the things of the national government, because it is the only way to face the blockade, the sanctions, the abuses of imperialism against us».
Cabello at the time of swearing in and handing over the party banner to 238 heads of UBCh666 from communities and 3,900 from the streets, stressed that swearing them in is committing to building a party that advances in the construction of socialism.
“Swearing them in is committing all of us to building a party that is capable of advancing in the construction of the socialist model, our model,” said the First Vice President of the PSUV.
During the months of August and September, more than 266 thousand street leaders were elected, from some 46,000 communities and at least 14,000 from UBCh, in days in which more than five million Venezuelans participated.
No child out of school
At the beginning of the act, Cabello reiterated what has been a constant in the swearing-ins carried out so far, “there should not be a single child left on any street in Nueva Esparta or in the entire country who is not in school. That is a government task.”
He reiterated that “we must ensure that our boys and girls are in a school.”
PSUV: movement that governs
He recalled that the president of the party, Nicolás Maduro, asked to convert the PSUV “into a movement that governs, a party of popular government of the street, community and UBCh.”
“You have to become a great work team, you must consult with those who elected you and your leadership will become an indestructible rock,” said Cabello.
He stressed and reiterated that the needs of the people must be directly addressed, in this sense, he stated that “it is the only way to face the blockade imposed by the Government of the United States and its allies.”

To strengthen the preparation of party members, Cabello indicated that they will be given a work manual, with the aim of beginning the deployment, training and mobilization.
On Friday, the president of the PSUV, Nicolás Maduro, insisted on the need to divulge the manual for the head of the street, the community and the UBCh, as well as to encourage and promote the political, methodological and ideological training of the new leaders with a view to to consolidate the popular government.
