Cabello on the leadership of the PCV: it has the discourse of imperialism

Diosdado Cabello, first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), questioned the leadership of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV), which he accused of using the same discourse as the ruling elite of the United States.

During his program Con el Mazo Dando, Cabello lamented the current position taken by the communists under the leadership of Óscar Figuera.

“Óscar Figuera has the same discourse that North American imperialism has against us,” he pointed out and assured that this position of the “top” of the party of the red rooster is questioned by the grassroots militancy.

“That is not the militant of the communist party, no, one goes to the neighborhoods and communities and finds them,” he affirmed while describing this position of the PCV leadership as “shameful.”

“It is sad for the number of martyrs that the Communist Party of Venezuela or the communists have in the revolutionary struggles of Venezuela,” he said.

Call to unity

On the other hand, the leader of the PSUV referred to the upcoming process of electing the street bosses of this political gang and stressed the importance of promoting grassroots leadership committed to unity and loyalty.

“Loyalty in this case to the PSUV, to the people, to President Nicolás Maduro, to the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez’s thought, to Simón Bolívar, loyalty to principles,” he stressed.

He insisted on pointing out that for this PSUV renewal election process “there is no line” of who to cast the vote for.

“There is no line, go comrade and vote for the one you want,” he said, stressing that “leaders are obliged to work with what the People say.”

“We are here to comply with the decisions made by our People,” he emphasized.

Cabello also referred to the importance of the generational renewal of leadership to ensure that “the revolution is irreversible.”

«We are very proud of this youth! When Comandante Chávez decided to make way for the revolutionary youth and give them a leading role, he was absolutely right, today those fruits are being harvested, but we need to continue sowing », he said.

“Juanes you are immoral”

Cabello did not miss the opportunity to refer to the concert that the Colombian cante Juanes will perform in Venezuela and recalled that this artist from New Granada was one of the promoters of the anti-Venezuelan campaign during the year 2019.

Calling it “immoral”, the first vice president of the PSUV recalled the accusations that the Colombian singer launched against President Nicolás Maduro during his participation in the Venezuela Aid Live concert, calling him a “dictator”.

“Juanes, I am going to tell you something; the president in Venezuela is still Nicolás Maduro who, according to you, did not let you enter Venezuela.”

He then stated that the Colombian singer is the nephew of former President Álvaro Uribe Vélez, which in his opinion explains why Juanes “has a black soul.”

“He is the nephew of Uribe (…) that is why he has a black soul. Uribe is the first godfather he had in his musical career and if Uribe was his Godfather, drug trafficking was behind his musical career, ”he denounced.

He questioned the manifestations of “love” that the singer has indicated towards Venezuelans in recent days to announce his concert in the country.

“After saying that you didn’t come to Venezuela, that you sang at a concert where they tried to invade Venezuela, now you come because ‘you love Venezuelans’. Which ones do you love? Very immoral (…). Now, it is good that you come to see a free people, a people that does not give up and that triumphed in that invasion that you promoted, those of us who were on this side put half a guariney into those who were on that side who wanted to invade to this country. They couldn’t and won’t be able to with a thousand of those concerts or with a thousand Juanes at the helm”, he emphasized.
