The sectoral vice president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Hairdenounced this Thursday that the opposition member María Corina Machado is aware of the arms trafficking and mercenary infiltration operations that are being carried out with the aim of destabilizing the country.
During a press conference, the also Minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace presented a new batch of seized weapons and images of a new group of detained mercenarieswho are judicialized and placed at the disposal of the courts. More than 500 firearms have been seized.
Cabello indicated that extremist sectors have not been able to carry out a coup d’état and recalled that “(Iván) Simonovis is the one who brings the weapons and says in his statement that nothing is done without the authorization of Mrs. María Corina Machado.”
“Mrs. María Corina is aware of this. “It is not convenient for her to say anything, to assume it, but she is aware of this entire operation and the damage they are going to do to Venezuela,” he asserted.
The minister recalled that Venezuela and the world saw criminal gangs making videos on July 29 to express their support for Machado.
“There is Julio Borges who does not fight any conspiracy operation, there is Carlos Vecchio, there is Uribe (Vélez) for sure, (Iván) Duque does not fail. In the operation they are in charge of sending their paramilitaries here,” he explained.
Conspiracy plans against Venezuela
Cabello reiterated the complaint of a conspiracy against the country, but stated that the collaborators are being detained. “All this is linked to a great conspiracy against this country,” he warned.
He ratified that the State Security Organizations work tirelessly for the tranquility and security of Venezuelans.
Likewise, he expressed that he considers that the end is approaching for extremist groups and recommended that they not try anything, as he stated that the authorities are prepared to make the decisions they must.
The minister added that Colombian security agencies have helped identify logistics operators involved in these actions and added that it is important for neighboring countries to understand that what happens to Venezuela has consequences for them, because it would be applied as a way to destabilize. being laboratories used by imperialism against nations that are not related to them.
