The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confirmed that the leaders of opposition extremism are thieves, after it was revealed that they charge a million-dollar commission for the recent illegal sale of Citgo, a subsidiary of Petróleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA) in the United States (USA).
“They are thieves, they are scoundrels. They are bad at governing, they are bad at opposing; one can say that they are good at stealing. They cannot see a bolivar because they steal it and put it in their name,” Cabello lashed out during the weekly press conference of the red awning.
He recalled that the extremists said they were going to “protect” Citgo and ended up auctioning off an asset that belongs to the Venezuelan people. “No one has said anything, no one has said anything. There is talk that the commission that Leopoldo López and his group are charging is more than 500 million dollars, for remaining silent,” he said.
Finally, he indicated that this sector “continues to steal from Venezuelans and they don’t care if it is known, because they are very shameless and shameless.”
