Cabello: González Urrutia is afraid to take responsibility for what he caused

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said this Wednesday from his program “Con el Mazo Dando” that the former candidate of the extreme right Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia He is afraid to take responsibility for what he caused by ignoring the election results of June 28, which declared re-elected President Nicolás Maduro the winner.

He questioned the disappearance of the former candidate of imperialism. “Where is he? Why hasn’t he left? Today he sent a letter to the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) saying that he couldn’t go, because he was afraid, that’s what I interpret.”

“González Urrutia is afraid to take responsibility for what he caused,” Cabello said.

The leader of the red party recalled that the program Con el Mazo Dando had warned who Edmundo González Urrutia is.

“We warned you! Edmundo González is a murderer, and like all murderers he is a coward, just like (Henry) López Sisco, just like (Iván) Simonovis, they are very brave when they have a person on their knees, pointing a gun at them (…) Let no one fall for the story that poor guy, that man is so old, no, no no… That guy is a murderer! He got used to killing young people, journalists, priests, nuns…”, he said.

On the other hand, Cabello toHe said that personal repentance is valid, but that does not mean that justice will not act. “Personal repentance is one thing and the functioning of justice is another. There should be no more impunity,” he said.

He stressed that those involved in conspiracies to overthrow the Venezuelan government, as well as its armed vanguard in the so-called “comanditos” face serious accusations of acts of terrorism and hatred as defined in the law.

“They have to pay for all the damages committed, we will wait to see if Sayona brings them something,” he said in reference to the destruction committed by the gangs against public and private property after the National Electoral Council presented the results in which Nicolás Maduro was projected as the winner of the electoral contest.

In this sense, the revolutionary leader assured that, without being the government on July 29, from the fascist right “they wanted to exterminate the Chavista People, imagine them governing Venezuela again” with all the instruments of the State in their hands.

“Imagine them governing for a day. It’s been 25 years and they haven’t learned anything, they’ve gotten worse,” he said.

He reiterated that if they were a government with all the instruments of the State, “What wouldn’t they do? That’s why we have to put on a shield.”

He recalled that when Commander Hugo Chavez changed his landscape, it was a hard blow “and they attacked, do not believe that tears for Chavez are weakness and we resisted that attack.”

Prior to her program, Cabello stated on her official account on social network X thatThe enemies of the country, both internal and external, must understand that we will respect our institutions and our people.”

In the same post he added, “We ensure peace and guarantee that justice will be applied to terrorists and haters. United We Will Win!”
