Cabello: Diplomatic delegations must respect the host country

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, through a press conference, stated that the countries of the world that have diplomatic delegations in the Bolivarian nation are obliged to respect the legitimacy of the host country.

“No ambassador, no embassy can believe that they are coming to the country to overthrow a legitimately constituted government. They must first respect the host country and seek the best relations with the government, otherwise they should not send ambassadors.” He also criticized the fact that some diplomats accredited in Venezuela are trying to establish a political position on the internal affairs of the nation. “It is the global project of exclusion that they want to impose on us,” he added.

On the other hand, he rejected the recent accusations against Venezuela made by Argentine President Javier Milei, while emphasizing that he is not in a position to “threaten anyone, to go and fix Argentina’s problems, which have many, soaring poverty, soaring inflation, without a blockade, without persecution, without anything being stolen, rather, he is stealing things from the people of Argentina,” he said.

“At any moment, those people will rise up, really rise up, and nothing will count there and they will blame us, I guarantee it,” Cabello said, while emphasizing that the world has too many problems to be concerned about intervening in the affairs of the Bolivarian Government.
