Cabello announced a vigil and mobilization agenda for rebel February

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Diosdado Cabello, announced that a national vigil will be held tonight one month after the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and the first lady, Cilia Flores.

“One month after the kidnapping of brother President Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores, we are going to hold a vigil tonight and a big march tomorrow, February 3,” the leader reported during the weekly press conference with the red awning.

This Tuesday’s mobilization will also commemorate the birth of the Grand Marshal of Ayacucho, Antonio José de Sucre, uniting the demand for freedom with the historical dates of the country.

Cabello explained that the agenda of the “rebel month” will continue on February 4 with a large concentration for the Day of the Civil-Military Rebellion, led by Commander Hugo Chávez in 1992.

Mobilization schedule for rebel February

The leader reported that on February 12 the march will be held for Youth Day, while February 14 will be a date to remember “the deep love of Cilia and Nicolás.”

The agenda includes activities on February 23 for the Battle of the Bridges and will culminate on the 27th and 28th, remembering the popular outbreak known as “the Caracazo” as an expression of original power.

“February 27 and 28 of that first expression of the Constituent People, the original power of our people expressed in the street,” emphasized the representative of the red awning.

Finally, Cabello reaffirmed that all these calls seek to maintain the “monolithic unity” of the revolutionary forces in the defense of sovereignty and the demand for the return of the retained leaders.

Reactivation of flights and return of countries

On the other hand, Diosdado Cabello stated that “a large number of countries” want to resume flights with Venezuela after the announcement of the reconnection with the Dominican Republic, ensuring that everyone is “welcome.”

“Many countries, even before the attack on January 3, had left and did not want to know anything about Venezuela (…) today they ask to return,” he said during the Psuv’s weekly press conference.

The Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace also indicated that this will make it easier for “those who are abroad to return,” in reference to Venezuelan migrants who wish to return to their homeland.

Cabello urged the governments of the world to leave the fear generated by the constant “fake news” against the country, highlighting that nations like the Dominican Republic would like to have the security that Venezuela offers today.
