“They are in a phase of the ‘curve of grief and denial’ ‘I accept it, I don’t accept it’ let’s see if they learn,” Cabello said.
The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said that after 10 days, the opposition extremists have begun to “digest” that Chavismo won the last presidential election on July 28, where President Nicolás Maduro emerged victorious.
During his 489th show on “Con el Mazo Dando,” the revolutionary leader recalled that the far right, represented by former candidate Edmundo González Urrutia and the disqualified María Corina Machado, “have been bigmouths talking about fraud for a long time because their plan was not electoral,” and that now, they are in a phase of the “curve of mourning and denial ‘I accept it, I don’t accept it’ let’s see if they learn,” Cabello said, although he stated that he did not have much hope, since they have been at it for more than 25 years “and they have been very bad at learning.”
In this regard, he warned that the revolutionary forces “are in the counterattack and the security agencies and even the violent protesters themselves have helped to stop their own fascist acts by recording themselves,” he said.
