The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stated that Colombian “narcouribismo” aims to turn the country into an expedited route through the Caribbean for drug trafficking to Europe and the United States (USA).
“The pillismo of the world is waiting for Venezuela to become a route for drugs, that is not going to happen, with the Bolivarian Revolution that is not possible and that is why [Juan] Guaidó offered them a way out through our La Guajira,” he emphasized during the broadcast of your program With The Gavel Giving.
Cabello pointed out the economic and strategic reasons that drug trafficking would have to be able to access the Atlantic and Caribbean coast through a country like Venezuela where only 3% of Colombian drugs leave.
“That is an expedited route, but they have to take the Pacific route, which is very bad for travel and that is why they require that route be opened through Venezuela,” he indicated.
In that sense, he rejected the accusations and accusations by the international media that try to link him or President Nicolás Maduro with drug trafficking. Furthermore, he asserted that if they use the airspace they will be shot down by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
