Cabello: 31 years after 4F, the people continue to raise their voices against the empire

This February 4, 2023, 31 years later, the people continue to raise their voices against the North American empire like that February 4 of 1992 when a group of young soldiers, led by Commander Hugo Chávez, revolted against that same empire that today continues to attack the Venezuelan people, highlighted the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello.

This Saturday, during an act commemorating the 31st anniversary of the civic-military rebellion of the February 4 In 1992, Cabello specified that at that time the Venezuelan people rose up against US imperialism and the precarious situation that existed.

«We rose up at that moment, some of us without knowing it, against US imperialism, which was the one who ruled this country. This country had been handed over to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), he said.

He explained that the country “had been pledged to foreign transnationals, to the great powers, they had put us in a precarious situation and they cared absolutely nothing about our people.”

no one cared

The First Vice President of the PSUV narrated that during the years 1991 and 1992 more than 90 leaders were assassinated in the country, which responded to the government policies of the Fourth Republic.

“Massacre the people was a state policy at that time,” he stressed.

After the rebellion, many of those who participated were already in prison, “never, none of us here, saw the Organization of American States (OAS) asking for our freedom, we never saw the North American embassy pronounce itself on the state of our health, worrying about what was happening to the people of Venezuela.

He recalled that at that time many called them: “seditious, criminal and a senator (one of the most notorious corrupt in this country) was heard in the National Assembly saying death to the coup plotters, that is on record.”

4F: Chávez and a people emerged

Diosdado Cabello stressed that that man named Hugo Chávez emerged on February 4 “and with him the people emerged. With his for now and that hope for the future, but he also picked up everyone so there would be no more bloodshed,” he said.

He reiterated that on February 4, 1992, the leadership of the commander, Hugo Chávez, emerged, with whom the hope of a people was born.

He stressed that at that time of the rebellion “we knew that the chances of success were nil and that did not make us go back, not at all. Our appreciation to each and everyone who is here.

we keep resisting

Likewise, Cabello made special recognition to the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who has stood up alongside the people and against imperialism.

“It is very easy to kneel to the gringos, but President Nicolás Maduro has remained standing and with him, this people remains firm, fighting,” he said.

In this sense, he stressed that “our people and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) have resisted all the attacks, the terrible campaigns against the revolutionary government led by President Nicolás Maduro.”

“We can say today with more certainty that those who sold and delivered the Homeland will not return, and here we are, soldiers of the 4F together with our people,” he said.

He concluded: “Long live the 4F, long live the martyrs who gave up their lives for the struggle of this homeland, long live Chávez, undisputed leader of the Bolivarian Revolution. This homeland will be free,” he said.
