In the department of Caaguazú, by indication of the director of Ethnic Rights, Abg. Dora Penayo Montiel, in the framework of investigations on punishable acts of sexual abuse of children, attempted murder, invasion of property and appropriation, officials under his charge carried out field work in the indigenous communities of the area, specifically located in the districts of Repatriación, Caaguazú, Juan Manuel Frutos and Raúl A. Oviedo.
During the procedure, information and testimonies were collected in the framework of the investigations, as well as consultation with community leaders about the customs applicable to the case.

On that occasion, the psychologist from the Directorate of Ethnic Rights accompanied the work, providing psychological support to the victims and carrying out the victimological evaluation.
