The Ministry of Health has installed 41 temporary posts, which are distributed along the pilgrimage routes, and 28 fixed posts between hospitals, health posts, and family health units, located in the departments of Cordillera, Caaguazú, Paraguari and Central.
In addition, it has a total of 1,831 health professionals, doctors, nurses, obstetricians and support personnel, to provide assistance to all citizens who require first aid and medical care.
Likewise, the Extra-Hospital Medical Emergency Service (SEME) has three advanced support mobiles, four basic support and two logistics mobiles, for red coverage. Similarly, the health regions have ambulances that will be at the service of citizens, with which there are a total of 37 ambulances.
Likewise, a helicopter for aeromedical evacuations is available to this State portfolio, for emergencies.
Citizens are reminded that the lines (021) 5698000 are available for ambulances (until 141 is restored), 132 for firefighters and 911 for the national police, in case of any emergency.
