Businesswoman Carmen de la Sierra de Saglul, wife of businessman José Ignacio Saglul Saavedra, died in a spectacular accident this Friday night.
The accident occurred on the Eastern highway, between Juan Dolio and Boca Chica, near the El Tamarindo parador.
The body still remains at the accident site, awaiting the presence of the medical examiner.
Authorities and relatives appeared at the scene, as well as units of the National Emergency System 911, Civil Defense and firefighters.
The accident has disrupted traffic on the Eastern Highway.
It was said that Mamón Saglul, brother of the victim’s husband, also had an accident on his way to the scene.
