The union of guilds, a platform that groups the micro, small, medium and large company of the country, expressed its firm support for the position of the government of Peru In defense of the sovereignty of the district of Santa Rosain the Loreto region.
The organization pointed out that this position is fully supported by international law and the political limits established in the Treaty of Limits and Free River Navigation between Peru and Colombia, signed on March 24, 1922. Likewise, he recalled that the works of the Mixed Demark Commission of Limits and the Rio de Janeiro protocol of 1934 ended the border differences between both nations.
The business guild reaffirmed his confidence that full respect for current treaties will be maintained and stressed that the relationship with the sister Republic of Colombia must continue to strengthen in a framework of peace, friendship and mutual cooperation.
