Given the announcement of the national strike of transporters scheduled for this Wednesday, October 23, the business unions recognize the right to protest, however, we express our concern about the way in which this measure is being distorted and being taken advantage of by some for political purposes. .
Therefore, we demand that the organizers and participants carry it out within the framework of the law, without engaging in acts of violence, protecting private and public property, and allowing free movement of all people.
At this crucial moment, we urge all political forces to work together for citizen security and governability, fundamental factors to attract investments and work for greater well-being for all Peruvians.
The business unions reaffirm our commitment to the rule of law, and we demand from the three powers of the State, measures that guarantee the safety and lives of workers and businessmen who strive every day to get ahead, generating jobs, and betting on a Peru with political and social stability.
