César Ruiz Díaz, head of the Metropolitan Area Transport Entrepreneurs Center (Cetrapam), confirmed in an interview with Universo 970/Nación Media that they had to make adjustments to the nightly bus departure schedule starting this week.
This change occurs as a consequence of the complaints of several users of public transport due to the lack of buses at night, coinciding with the start of the XII South American Games ASU 2022.
Ruiz Díaz admitted that the service suffered due to the lack of foresight, since neither the transport businessmen nor those responsible for the Odesur Games expected a massive influx of people. “It was not anticipated that so many people would move, not even the organizers foretold that they would have so many people.”
After realizing what happened, they organized with the Vice Ministry of Transportation to apply adjustments to the frequencies of the units that operate at night, so that none of the attendees can be left without the possibility of returning home.
In this way, transport companies will make the latter. buses leave their respective stops at 10:00 p.m., which will allow passengers to board them without any inconvenience.
