Last Thursday afternoon, a passenger transport bus went off the road, colliding with two private units and a public lighting pole, leaving around twenty injured, including adults and students from the Cusco Science School.
The incident occurred at 2:30 p.m. on Humberto Luna Avenue, belonging to the Santa Ana neighborhood in Cusco, where the bus with film plate AFY-835, driven by Rodrigo Enriquez (50) lost its brakes.
Due to the mishap, the unit went out of control crashing into two private vehicles, of which the one with license plate B3H-382 was more damaged, and its driver, identified as Lenin Cutire (42) was trapped in the cabin, having to be rescued and helped by firefighters.
Meanwhile members of the Police and the Samue helped with the evacuation of the injuredMost of whom were taken to the facilities of the Antonio Lorena Contingency Hospital.
