The event will focus on three pillars: a fair and inclusive economic recovery from the pandemic; wellness cities and “urgent need” of climate finance.
Furthermore, according to official information, “Advance will be made in the signing of the Buenos Aires Consensus, which will establish a financing fund for urban projects aimed at fighting climate change.”
In her capacity as vice president of the C40 network, the mayor of Bogotá, Claudia López, will also participate in the conference in Buenos Aires, as part of an international agenda, which will later conclude in Montevideo.
According to information from the Efe agency, López will participate in the installation of the global event and in the process, will meet with his counterpart from Copenhagen (Denmark) for a cooperation plan between the two cities and with the leaders of Utrecht (Netherlands). ) and North Dhaka (Bangladesh).
