The Ministry of Health of the province of Buenos Aires reported this Saturday that Between Monday, December 19, and Thursday, December 22, the 36 hospitals of the district that vaccinate against the coronavirus will extend their hours until 7:00 p.m. and more than 30 traveling posts will be incorporated in different municipalities to apply the doses to the population older than six months without prior shift.
The hospitals that extend their hours are “Julio de Vedia” on July 9; “San Felipe” from San Nicolás; “San José” by Parchment; “Eva Perón” from San Martin; “Centrangolo” by Vicente López; “Mercante” by José C. Paz; “Oñativia” and “Melendez” by Almirante Brown; “Wilde” and “President Perón” from Avellaneda; “Eurnekian” by Ezeiza; “Evita” and “Melo” by Lanús; “Gandulfo” from Lomas de Zamora; “Hero of Malvinas” by Merlo; “Mariano and Luciano” and maternity “Estela de Carlotto” by Moreno.
In addition to the “Güemes” from Morón; “Carrillo” and “Bocalandro” from Tres de Febrero; “Tetamanti” from Mar del Plata; “Argentina Diego” by Azul; Zonal General of Lobos, Zonal General of Las Flores; “Cestino” from Ensenada; “Zenón Videla Dorna” from San Miguel del Monte; “Paroissien”, “Balestrini” and “Simplemente Evita” from La Matanza; “Alejandro Korn”, “San Martín”, “San Juan de Dios”, “Ludovica”, “Sbarra”, “Elina de La Serna” and “Gutiérrez” from La Plata.
This extension of hours and the new traveling posts are added to the vaccination centers against Covid-19 that operate daily in the province where you can attend without prior shift.
The government stressed that people should update their schedules and apply boosters (third, fourth and fifth dose) if four months have passed since the last applicationand according to the age group.
In this sense, it was detailed that the first reinforcement is for people between 3 and 17 years of age; the second for those between the ages of 18 and 49 (without risk conditions); and the third for people over 50 years of age, people 12 and older with immunocompromised health personnel, those who reside or work in closed or long-term hospitalization institutions, and people 18 years and older with comorbidities.
