Budget Commission approves departure transfers for more than 4 million to Meduca

Radio Panama Writing. For an amount of 4 million 252 thousand 897 balboas, the Budget Commission of the National Assembly approved to the Ministry of Education transfers of items that will be used to acquire school facilities and textbooks, which will serve to continue improving the quality of teaching for the Panamanian students.

Part of these payments are to reinforce the educational resources that support the Improving the Efficiency and Quality of the Education Sector (MECSE) program, which aims to contribute to the pedagogical aspect of the teaching task, focused on the quality of children’s learning in the educational process.

A transfer is for B/. 3,500,000, is intended to strengthen the funds to acquire the facilities of the old Pedagogical Institute, located in Las Cumbres.

The Budget Commission also gave its approval to transfer 752,897 balboas, to acquire reading books for primary levels, through MECSE with the commitment that students, from the first grades, learn complex and non-complex words with faster, improve your comprehension, spelling, expression, writing, exercise your brain and stimulate your creativity and imagination.
