An investigation of the digital portal Southeast he found a controversial decree of the government of Luis Lacalle Pou in which, exceptionally, the entry of the Argentine doctor, Bruno Szyferman, was authorized and, according to the media, he would have come to Montevideo to intervene with the president for a scalp problem.
Although it was said that it was Szyferman himself who intervened with Lacalle, the doctor appeared this Sunday with a statement that LARED21 agreed to and in which he offers his version of events.
He mentions the Uruguayan press, which widely replicated the news and which speaks of “my person’s (Dr. Bruno Szyferman) alleged hair transplant surgery on the President of Uruguay, Luis Lacalle Pou, in June 2021.”
He stressed that his nationality is Argentine and that his surgeon registration number is MN 110627. He specialized in the treatment of hair problems and hair transplants, and is the director of his company Capilea, which has 15 clinics around the world. Precisely, the Montevideo headquarters is the one that has been at the center of the controversy.
He claims it wasn’t him.
“It should be noted that I do not provide medical care outside my country, beyond providing medical advice,” he stressed, since his registration is limited only to Argentina.
“In relation to the hair transplant of the president of Uruguay, as global director of Capilea, I am aware that It was carried out by the medical director of Capilea Uruguay, Dr. Gabriela NovelloSzyferman added. He concluded by “regretting” that journalists and the media cited his name “to engage in politics with an issue that is totally foreign” to his person.
The letter, signed by the doctor, does not deny that he was admitted thanks to the executive decree, and confirms that Lacalle Pou did indeed have a hair intervention.
