The Foreign Minister of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, paid this Thursday, in Caracas, a heartfelt tribute to the Venezuelan and Cuban combatants who died in defense of the Bolivarian Revolution during the imperial military aggression on January 3, in which President Nicolás Maduro and the first lady, Cilia Flores, were kidnapped.
During an act of tribute to the martyrs, he pledged the joint struggle of both nations to ensure the release of the National President and his wife, as well as the victory of the Revolution that both countries lead.
“I came from Cuba to emotionally pay tribute to the Venezuelan combatants who fell in combat in defense of the Bolivarian and Chavista Revolution and the sacred Venezuelan Homeland,” said the diplomat before the acting president Delcy Rodríguez, and heads of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces.
In his speech, he highlighted the work of the Cuban troops who, “in unequal combat, faced the imperialist enemy that desecrated the sovereignty of the Venezuelan Homeland and protected President Nicolás Maduro” Moros “.” The Chancellor extended a message of “honor and glory” to the fallen and of “love and peace” to the Venezuelans murdered during the attacks.
In the political and diplomatic sphere, the Cuban representative shared the conviction that both revolutions, the Bolivarian and the Cuban, are beacons for the liberation of Latin America, an aspect that led him to remember Army General Raúl Castro, Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez and President Miguel Díaz-Canel, who, loyal to the thought of Bolívar and Martí, have paved the way in the construction of the emancipation of the peoples.
“Until victory, we will always win!” he said after finishing his speech in front of the families of the soldiers and civilians who offered their lives in the midst of imperial armed aggression.
