The former participant said goodbye to his classmates, teachers, the jury and also his followers, who now number more than 37,000 thanks to his performance singing in English and dancing in the best style of the North American artist.
Precisely to them, ‘Bruno Mars’ wrote a letter venting and thanking them for their support during the galas.
“I am going to write to you from my heart, just as I sang to you every night. I couldn’t be happier, I couldn’t feel more grateful, more complete. I graduated from them!” the singer wrote in a first paragraph.
«Ironically, today is not about whether my name is called or not, it is about the purpose for which I came here to ‘My name is’. I came to steal smiles from you, I came to awaken tenderness in you, I came to show you the good Father that I have, who brought me here and who, with that grace that only he knows how to give, taught me again that you don’t need to do anything to deserve a favor, I He didn’t deserve to be here, but he felt like it, and beyond any argument, I feel like I won this competition.”
“I won the hearts of many of you. That is the biggest award I get.
Thanks to my dearest teachers at the most brutal imitation school in the world, @yomellamo’s school. I carry them in my soul and keep each teaching in my heart.
Thank you Colombia, I love you,” he concluded in his message.
The final of “Yo me llamo” will be next Monday, March 7.
