Bruera signs the victorious premiere of Sarabia in Nacional

Hoy Paraguay

Nacional received Sportivo Ameliano today at the Arsenio Erico stadium for the eighth date of the Apertura 2022 First Division tournament.

On the bench of the Tricolor cast, “Corporal” Pedro Alcides Sarabia premiered, who replaced interim coach Carlos Bonet after the departure of Hernán Rodrigo López.

The visiting squad arrived with sky-high confidence after their historic victory against Olimpia in Para Uno, but they found a strong Nacional in all their lines and managed to take advantage on the scoreboard before the half hour mark with the goal of Argentinian Facundo Bruera (26′).

The V Azulada narrowly tied it at 62′, through a tight header from Antonio Oviedo, but judge Giancarlo Juliadoza annulled the goal after resorting to VAR.

With blood in his eye, Ameliano shot out to find parity and finally got it thanks to a header from Alex Arce (73′).

It seemed that the match was going to be distributed with points, but once again Bruera appeared to give Nacional the winning goal in added time.

The VAR took a few minutes to review and Ameliano’s entire bench protested, but the goal was validated.

In this way, Nacional triumphantly inaugurated the Sarabia cycle, which has the mission of rebuilding the morale of the campus.

The entrance Bruera signs the victorious premiere of Sarabia in Nacional was first published in diary TODAY.
