Broxel announces free remittances per transfer

Remittances totaled 51 thousand 594 million dollars in 2021, a record figure, and it is expected that this year, with the dynamism they have carried so far (12 thousand 521 in the first quarter), they will exceed that historical maximum.

According to data from Broxel, the cost of the average remittance is greater than 5% of the transaction.

The average shipment made by each countryman is around 378 dollars. It means that for each transaction made by Mexicans living in the United States, they have to pay almost 19 dollars for the service.

Last year, 136 million operations were carried out.

“Making a remittance available to our countrymen at zero cost is an economic disruption that positively and directly impacts millions of workers in the United States and their families in Mexico,” explained the president and founder of Broxel, Gustavo A. Gutiérrez Galindo.

To make free shipping from the United States, nationals must register at broxel.com, request their card (they will receive it at home) and activate the company’s mobile application. Family members in Mexico will need to go through the same process to get their account.

To facilitate the transfer, Broxel users in the United States will be able to make the transfer in more than 150 thousand stores, pharmacies and convenience stores.
