The Republic Bank (BROU) calls for applicants to form priority lists in departments in the interior of the country and in the metropolitan area that allows the coverage of Income Assistant positions (GEPU 5) in the administrative ladder. The positions will be appointed as vacancies arise in the branches of each department.
The charge Income Assistant It consists of carrying out commercial customer service in the different branches throughout the country. He has a remuneration corresponding to Grade 5 of the Single Pattern Scale, which as of July 2022 is $46,939 nominal.

8% of vacancies will be provided in compliance with the provisions of Law 19,122 of 08/21/2013 (“Establishment of provisions in order to favor the participation in the educational and labor areas of Afro-descendantss”).
1% of vacancies will be provided in compliance with the provisions of Law 19,684 of 10/26/2018 (Comprehensive law for trans people), regulated by Decree of the Executive Branch No. 104/019. “All those people who perceive themselves to be trans may apply for this quota, requesting to have carried out or initiated the process of adequacy of name or sex in identification documents, or to have applied for the Uruguay Social Trans Card.”
4% of vacancies for people with disabilities They will be provided from the priority list that arises from the specific external call, which is in progress, made in compliance with the provisions of Law 18,651 of 02/19/2010 (Law on Comprehensive Protection of Persons with Disabilities).
Exclusionary requirements:
- Age: 18 years old at the closing date of registration: 03/10/2022. Applicants 30 years of age or older must prove previous contributions to social security that allow them to retire at 60 years of age.
- Citizenship: Being a natural or legal citizen and being registered in the National Civic Registry. Legal citizens may not be designated until three years after obtaining the Citizenship Card.
- Training: Complete Baccalaureate (6th Year in Secondary or equivalent) issued by Secondary Schools or educational centers authorized by the General Directorate of Secondary Education or the General Directorate of Professional Technical Education (Ex UTU), or in Educational Centers Abroad with homologation in Uruguay, at the end of the registration period.
- Residence: Submit proof of residence/settlement issued by the corresponding Police Section of the Ministry of the Interior.

Applicants must register exclusively on the bank website (www.brou.com.uy), in the period between the 15 hours on September 19 and 15 hours on October 3 inclusive.
Each applicant will have the opportunity to enroll in only one of the 19 departments provided for in this call. The department selected for registration must coincide with the residence of the applicant.
All the information referring to said call will be exclusively published on the BROU website, therefore, it will be the only valid means by which all pertinent communications and notifications will be made, being the strict responsibility of the applicants to keep themselves informed in this regard.

How is the selection process carried out?
The Selection Board will be made up of 6 (six) teams of 3 (three) members each, appointed by the General Management, who will make their decisions by majority vote.
A pre-selection will be made by schooling. The score for schooling is obtained from the sum of the points corresponding to Secondary Education and university training in the careers detailed in the bases.
Once the documentation has been verified (which must be attached to the registration form), the applicants who have obtained the best scores for schooling will go on to the knowledge test instance.
The following stages will be: interview with the Selection Court and Psycho-labor Evaluation.
The percentage quotas defined in the affirmative laws (Law 19,122 and Law 19,684) will be included in the final number of selected applicants.
How will the new members be distributed by department?
It will be convened periodically during the validity of the priority lists by department, offering applicants the vacancies available in the different branches.
The priority lists will be valid for 3 (three) years from the approval of the contest.that is, from the first group of appointments approved by the BROU Board of Directors.
The list of priority will be integrated in the following way: a) a first order of priority by department for which they registered. b) a second order of priority, in which the contestants will be part of a general list, made up of all those who have passed the contest, ordered according to the final score of the selection. If the priority list of the first order for the corresponding department is exhausted, the priority list of the second order will be used.
When will they actually enter the bank?
Once all the stages of the contest have been completed, the applicants will be summoned to choose between the available destinations and after the appointment is approved by the Board of Directors, the resolution will be sent to the control organisms (National Civil Service Office and the Planning and Budget Office). ).
With these authorizations will enable the processing of the entry, which is estimated to take place in the first half of 2023.
