Imbert, Puerto Plata.- A man identified only as Geraldo (Tite) murdered his ex-partner by stabbing her three times, in an event that occurred this Saturday in the community of Saballo in the Imbert municipality, Puerto Plata province.
The victim was identified as Brendalis Castillo Padilla (Brenda), 24 years old and resident in the Barrio Nuevo sector, who lost her life after receiving fatal injuries.
The young woman received medical attention at the Imbert hospital, where she died as a result of the stab wounds she received.
Reports indicate that the couple had been separated for a short time, so their perpetrator remained under constant siege after not wanting to return to him. The couple had two children.
The National Police immediately began the search for the perpetrator.
