Breath It is the new exhibition of Zaida del Río that will be inaugurated this Saturday, April 19, at 4:00 pm, in the Temporary Room of the Third Level of the Cuban Art Building of the National Museum of Fine Arts.
The exhibition, which is part of its recognition in 2023 as a National Prize for Plastic Arts, proposes a tour that, without attachment to historicity, allows us to explore some of the issues that have inspired the author since the beginning of her career, when graduating from the National School of Art in the 70s, as indicated by the cultural institution.
The exhibition, third of the artist in the museum, includes around 60 works, including sculptures, paintings and drawings, where nature, man and religion intermingle, and that illustrate the future of one of the great Cuban contemporary artists and painters.
