The head of the National Electoral Council, Aimé Nogal, announced on the night of July 26, less than two days before the presidential elections, the relocation of the centers in some 13 states of the country.
The head of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Aimé Nogal, reported on the night of Friday, July 26, specifically at 7:35 pm, on the social network X, that 31 voting centers were relocated in several states of the country.
“Important information for voters in the national territory, below are the logistical relocations of the voting centers for the 2024 Presidential Election this #28J,” wrote Nogal.
The relocated centers are located in the states of: Capital District, Barinas, Falcon, Guarico, Lara, Merida, Miranda, Sucre, Tachira, Trujillo, Zulia, Amazonas and Delta Amacuro. In Miranda state alone, six polling stations were relocated.

This Friday, the main witness of the Unitary Platform before the National Electoral Council, Delsa Solórzano, announced in a press conference that more than 90% of the tables in the country had been set up. They registered 30,026 tables and less than 1% of incidents at them up to that moment.
The nation is preparing for elections on July 28, marked by the persecution and arrest of opposition members. Those who have provided logistics services to the opposition have also been subject to arrest and intimidation. Media outlets have also been censored through the blocking of their websites. During the campaign period alone, 12 media outlets or websites were blocked.
