Breach of food duty is the most denounced punishable act in 2022

The Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ) announced the five most frequent punishable acts at the country level. These were non-compliance with food duty with 3,297 complaints, family violence with 3,128, aggravated theft with 2,351, exposure to danger in land transit with 1,893 and theft with 1,125 complaints.

Pili Rodríguez, a judge for children and adolescents, informed 730 AM that they are very concerned because it is a basic right to subsistence.

“Naturally it does not happen to him, he is exposed to up to two years in jail or a fine. If the sentence comes out and it is not complied with, it can be extended up to 5 years or a fine”, he expressed.
