Brea: “The Popular Party had the time to bring its own candidate”

The president of the Popular Party, Daniel Brea, spoke about the Extraordinary General Congress that his party will have next Saturday, March 25, and about topics of interest such as the candidacy of former president Martín Torrijos.

This Extraordinary General Congress will seek the approval of the Secretary for the Disabled and the codes of ethics, in addition, other points will be added that will be discussed that same day.

“During all this time we have been talking with all the political figures and we have arrived with President Martín, we agree on the same issue, the party will continue, strengthened, united and be able to offer him a good electoral offer for Panama and something else that I have always said that it was time for the Popular Party to bring its own candidate for president, it is going to raise our flag as a candidate of the Popular Party and other civic, industrial, and business organizations that are joining the project are going to come,” he said. Regarding the possibility of joining an alliance with other political parties, Brea said: “We are willing for other political organizations to come to form a national alliance and that this idea be strengthened and that Panama feels safe, investors feel safe, President Torrijos is a good character for the political system of Panama.”
