In Beijing, Cristian Ribera managed to be the best among the four Brazilians in the long (18 km) ski race cross country, with 14th place. Guilherme Rocha, Robelson Lula and Wesley dos Santos also competed in the race. Cristian completed the circuit in 52min29s1. Guilherme Rocha finished the race in 19th place, with a time of 55min18s9, followed by Robelson Lula, 20th, (57min17s7). Also from São Paulo, Wesley dos Santos ended the dispute in 22nd position (58:23.5).

At the snowboard cross, André Barbieri participated in the qualifiers in the LL1 class, for athletes with disabilities in one or both legs. In this MondayFriday, 7th, around 00:30, the gaucho will compete in the finals of the race.
