Corinthians provisionally assumed the leadership of the A1 Series (first division) of the Brazilian Women’s Football Championship. This Saturday (28), Timão defeated Avaí/Kindermann by 4-0 at Parque São Jorge, in São Paulo, in the match that opened the tenth round of the competition.
The victory took the Brabas to 24 points, opening two for Palmeiras, who host São José on Sunday (29), at 2 pm (Brasilia time), at Allianz Parque, also in São Paulo. The Lionesses appear in 11th place, with 11 points, being able to end the round in the relegation zone if the joseenses and Cruzeiro (which plays at 3 pm on Sunday, with Cresspom, at Sesc Alterosas, in Belo Horizonte) win their respective commitments.
With 20 minutes of ball rolling, the alvinegras were already winning by 2 to 0. At 17, Gabi Portilho crossed from the right and Adriana, with a header, sent it to the nets. Three minutes later, Gabi Portilho entered the area from the right and hit, in the angle of goalkeeper Renata. The hosts continued in the attack and extended the bill at 41, in a low free kick from midfielder Diany. In the final stage, at 30 minutes, midfielder Lia Salazar was thrown by Andressa in the area and deflected it to defender Tarciane to close the scoring.
Two more matches moved the Brazilian this Saturday. At Sesc Campestre, in Porto Alegre, Internacional beat Real Brasília 2-1 and also provisionally overtook Palmeiras. The Colored Girls went to 23 points. The Lionesses of Cerrado follow with 13 points, in seventh, being able to be surpassed by Atlético-MG and Grêmio or Flamengo in the sequence of the round.
The brasilienses took the lead in the 17th minute of the first half, with forward Nenê. In the 15th minute of the final stage, also forward Lelê, with a header, left everything the same. In the 43rd minute, midfielder Duda took the free-kick perfectly and decreed the colorada turn.
At the Athlete Training Center in Jarinu (SP), Red Bull Bragantino tied with Esmac by 1 to 1. The result was bad for both, who are in the last two positions of the Brazilian. Massa Bruta added only the second point in ten games and appears in the lantern, seven points behind Cruzeiro, the first team outside the Z4. The Paraenses, with six points, remain in 14th place, also in the relegation zone.
The goals were scored before the first ten minutes of the game. At two, Emmily Karla put the visitors ahead. Six minutes later, fellow striker Luana completed, in the small area, the cross from the right of midfielder Rhay Coutinho, tying the match.
