Vozão comes into the match aiming for a spot in the G4 (qualification zone for access to Série A) of the competition. Starting the round in 5th place with 39 points, Ceará will be looking for its second consecutive victory in the competition.
Chape will try to take advantage of the fact that it is playing at home to leave the relegation zone. The team from Santa Catarina started the round in 18th place with 25 points.
