Brazilian team is runner-up in the Parataekwondo Pan

The Brazilian team of parataekwondo became vice-champion of the first open Pan-American championship of the modality. The green and yellow athletes won 14 medals in the tournament that took place this Friday (15), at Arena Carioca 1, in Rio de Janeiro. The overall title went to Mexico, who had four gold medals. Nathan Torquato and Fabrício Marques took the highest place on the podium in their respective categories (63kg and 58kg); Joel Gomes (80 kg), Pedro Paulo Neves (+80 kg), Teresinha Santos (47 kg), Cristhiane Nascimento (52 kg) and Debora Menezes (60 kg) took silver and bronze came with Bruno Rodrigues and Carlos Geraldo Coelho (70 kg), Lucas Vicente (+ 80 kg), Miriam Pio (47 kg), Maria Eduarda Machado (52 kg), Leylianne Santos (65 kg) and Camila Macedo (65 kg).
