This result gave encouragement to Leão, who still remains in the Z4, but now with 33 points in 18th position, three less than the Bahia Tricolor, which is one position ahead.
Sport’s victory was guaranteed thanks to a goal by Paulinho Moccelin, 20 minutes into the second half, after a good move by Mikael.

Bahia returns to the field at the Brazilian Nationals next Sunday (21), when they host Cuiabá at Fonte Nova. Sport, on the other hand, will only play again on December 3, against Flamengo.
