Mirassol drew a 1-1 draw with Cruzeiro, on the night of Monday (18) at the José Maria de Campos Maia Stadium, in Mirassol, in the match that ended the 20th round of the A1 Series of the Brazilian Men’s Football Championship.

This result prevented Cruzeiro from resuming the ranking vice-leadership. Now Raposa occupies the 3rd position with 38 points, five less than the Flamengo leader and one less than the deputy leader Palmeiras. Already the lion reached 29 points, in 6th place.
The cruise gave the impression that it could reach a good victory, after opening the scoring just 4 minutes into the first half. Shirt 10 Matheus Pereira advanced by the left end, reached the bottom line and crossed as Kaio Jorge, who dominated before finishing accurately to overcome goalkeeper Walter.
However, 19 minutes into the final stage, striker Negueba, who entered after the break, hit a beautiful kick to mark a great goal that secured the draw for Mirassol.
