The Brazilian international airline network reached 98.32% capacity in October compared to the same period in 2019. With 4,690 flights, this is the highest volume of air travel presented after the period of closing borders and other restrictions imposed by the pandemic of covid-19.
According to Embratur, the new number of monthly landings in Brazil represents an increase of 10.42% compared to September, and 17.93% compared to October 2021. tourism in the country is to increase the number of international flights.

Argentina, historically the biggest source of tourists to Brazil, was one of the countries that boosted connectivity. For the first time since 2019, it surpassed the mark of 1,000 flights in the same month, with 1,049 landings in the country. The flights departed from Buenos Aires (979), Córdoba (22), Mendoza (31), Bariloche (4) and Salta (13).
Another highlight of the Brazilian international network in October was Portugal. The European country surpassed the United States and ranked second in the ranking of arrivals in Brazil, with 642 flights departing from two cities: Lisbon (593) and Porto (49). The USA sent 624 flights to Brazil, originating from nine different cities.
