The federal government released a statement condemning the terrorist attack that took place on a beach in Australia this Sunday (14) during a Jewish celebration. 16 people died and 29 were injured.
“The Brazilian Government expresses solidarity with the families of the victims, the injured people and all others affected, as well as the Australian people and Government.”
In the note, the government reaffirms “its energetic repudiation of all acts of terrorism and any manifestations of anti-Semitism, hatred and religious intolerance.”
Attack
The attack took place on Bondi beach, which was hosting a Jewish festival. Twelve people were killed in the attack and more than twenty were taken to hospital. Deaths increased in the subsequent hours and reached sixteen.
