The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a note on Saturday (09) in which the Brazilian government “operates the decision of the Israeli government to expand military operations in the Gaza Strip, including a new foray into the city of Gaza.” 
According to the note, The new foray is a measure that will aggravate the “catastrophic humanitarian situation of the Palestinian civilian population, plagued by death scenario, forced displacement, destruction and hunger”.
Itamaraty recalled that the Gaza Strip, like the West Bank and East Jerusalem, is “inseparable part of the state of Palestine”, which is why Brazil has renewed its appeal by “complete and immediate removal” of Israeli troops from the territory.
“In this context, reiterates the urgency of the implementation of permanent ceasefire, the liberation of all hostages and the unimpeded entry of humanitarian aid,” he added.
Criticism
On Thursday (7), Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel intends to assume military control of the entire Gaza Strip. The statement was repudiated both in the internal and external level of Israel.
On Friday (8), the Israeli government plan was criticized by the United Nations High Human Rights CommissionerVolker Turk. The German government announced on the same date that it will not approve of any export of military equipment that could be used in the gaza range until second order.
On Saturday (9), Turkey Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said, after conversations in Egypt, that Muslim nations should act in unison and gather international opposition against Israel’s plan to take control of the city of Gaza.
